Learn More – Contraindications and Considerations
Contraindications:
Always consult with a healthcare professional before using a pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) device if you have any implanted electrical devices, such as a pacemaker, insulin or pain pump. However, Dan Dial’s Molecular Enhancer does not seem to affect pumps that don’t use a radio-frequency control, for example, chemotherapy pumps that are attached to a belt.
Considerations:
Dan Dial’s Molecular Enhancer affects the body by raising the energy within the cells, effectively “feeding” them, so they can perform optimally.
The Molecular Enhancer’s pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) may increase the effects of medications. Research suggests that magnetic fields open cell membrane channels, so medications, supplements and nutrients may more easily gain access to cells. This is one of the ways a PEMF can work along with of other modalities.
If there is a concern about the use of a PEMF device, consult with a physician. Since medications, nutrients or supplements may be more effective when consistently* using a PEMF device it is recommended that that you have your professionals monitor your medications, nutrients and supplements.
Medications:
Because research suggests that magnetic fields open cell membrane channels, do not take medications directly before using a PEMF device. Take them 90 minutes before using a PEMF device or right after you have completed a cycle. Many medications are time released and you do not want to move that chemical too quickly through your body.
Some medications require close monitoring, including regular or frequent testing. These may include:
- Insulin. Blood sugar levels should be tested for people on insulin, where blood sugars tend to run in a low range of normal.
- Seizure medications.
- Some medications for serious neurological conditions.
- Medications for major heart rhythm disturbances may require closer monitoring with the initiation of PEMFs, especially where more intense magnetic-field strengths are being used. Dan Dial’s Molecular Enhancer is a low power device and does not generate the more intense magnetic-field strengths of other PEMF devices.
*consistently – such as one hour a day, five days a week. Sporadic use, such as 20 minutes a day, three times a week, will not affect the body’s uptake of medication.
The Molecular Enhancer does not heal or cure, it is an experimental device currently undergoing research.
